Parking: Our parking lot is located in front of our Church at 301 N. Orange Grove Blvd. There are a number of handicapped spaces available. The lot tends to fill early, but there is street parking available on both Orange Grove Blvd. and Arroyo Terrace. An overflow lot is also available at the Pasadena Museum of History on the corner of Walnut and Orange Grove, across the street on the southeast corner from the Church.
Greeting: Each Sunday, our ministers stand in front in the main entrance to our campus (Orange Grove Blvd.) to greet each member and visitor as they arrive for service. As you walk towards the Sanctuary, our Welcome Committee volunteers will invite you to stop by the Welcome Table (under the Red Tent) to get a nametag and fill out a guest registry. Consider stopping back by after service to learn more about the Church.
Service: Inside the foyer (or narthex), ushers will hand you a hymnal, Order of Service, and Weekly Bulletin. Please feel free to sit wherever you are most comfortable. We have assisted listening devices, large print hymnals, and other accessibility services available to enhance your visit. Our services last about an hour and include opening words, music from our choir, hymn singing (during which we stand), an offering, and sermon. After the service, follow the congregation out the main door to greet the ministers.
After Service: After the service, we invite you to join us for coffee and refreshments on our patio. This is a great time to meet new folks, learn more about social justice programs, pick up a lifelong learning catalog, purchase UU books and items, and learn about upcoming events and activities. Don't forget to stop by the Welcome Table to learn more about the Church, sign up for the newsletter, and much more!
