Open Minds - Big Hearts
This is a church of open minds and big hearts. We covenant together to empower each other to live lives of service and integrity and joy.
Our faith is found in what we do more than in what we say. As Jefferson said, our religion should be read in our lives, not in our words; as we used to say sometime in the 60s, we should walk our talk.
Open Minds, Big Hearts.
We here are a bright and diverse people. We come here to share our joys and be comforted in sorrows, to learn more meaningful ways of living, to engage in the great questions of life and of death. We are here in our varied strengths and weaknesses, to gather together for some larger purpose. What we have here is precious, and, if we use it well, it can be powerful, too. What we have can transform lives. What we have should not be hoarded and kept from sight, but proclaimed and shared with the world.
