Neighborhood Unitarian Universalist Church of Pasadena recognizes the truth in all religions. You will enjoy the freedom to incorporate your own religious traditions in your wedding ceremony under the guidance of one of our ministers. Ministers Our minister will first consult with you on how best to create a ceremony according to your needs and wishes and then will officiate on your special day. Outside clergy may co-officiate. The Garden and Grounds The Neighborhood Church garden, overlooking the Arroyo, is one of the finest outdoor settings for weddings in the Los Angeles area. The backdrop of mature redwoods is sure to make your garden event a day to remember. The broad expanse of lawn accommodates up to 300 guests for a ceremony or reception.
	Cole House At the center of our grounds is the beautiful, historic Craftsman "Cole House" designed by the famous Greene and Greene architects. You may choose to incorporate the exterior of the Cole House as the backdrop for your memorable outdoor ceremony.
Sanctuary The main sanctuary is a large formal space which seats 275 guests for a ceremony, or 175 for a reception. The chancel is graced by a Craftsman style free-standing tracker pipe organ. A grand piano is also available. Rental includes a bride's and groom's room, and a full-service catering kitchen. The Sanctuary is directly adjacent to an outdoor patio and the Church gardens.
	Ross Chapel - for intimate events The Ross Chapel is a beautiful, light-filled Craftsman-style space designed by award-winning Pasadena architect Doug Ewing. The chapel is perfect for more intimate events, seating 120 guests for a ceremony or 80 guests for a reception. A grand piano is in the chapel. A small catering kitchen is adjacent to the chapel.

Music For Your Event

At your expense, our Music Director can be available to provide music for your wedding. We can also provide a list of approved musicians from which you may choose. We welcome all entertainers and will coordinate with musicians as needed.

To Plan Your Wedding or Special Event at Neighborhood Church

Contact the Neighborhood Church Facility Coordinator, Jacqueline Fox, by email or by phone at 626-449-3470 x13 for available dates. Wedding dates must be confirmed with a Neighborhood Church minister prior to the announcement of the date to your guests.

Once your wedding date is confirmed with one of the Neighborhood Church ministers and the Facility Coordinator, a Neighborhood Church wedding coordinator will assist you in planning your special event. The wedding coordinator will be present for your wedding and reception as well as your rehearsal. We can refer you to vendors including florists, photographers, caterers and musicians.

Your use of the Neighborhood Church wedding facilities is calculated at an hourly rate. Ceremonies are booked for a minimum of three hours; receptions for four hours; a combined event is booked for a total of five hours. In most cases additional hours may be booked for your reception if desired.

For receptions in any part of the church campus couples may use our 15- 48" round tables, 150- white folding chairs, and 16- 6ft. buffet tables.

Fees

All facility fees are determined by the number of attendees.

A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required at the signing of the contract. Once the deposit has been received and the contract signed, the facility has been officially rented. The fee balance is due 30 days prior to the event.

The minister's fee for ceremonies and memorials is in addition to the location fee. If our Music Director is hired, there is an additional fee for his services.
